The initially proposed SG budget passed the All-Student Assembly without any amendments. However, a change from last year is the fact that the so-called buckets, used to allocate money specifically to More-Honors and AUBG Olympics, were removed.

The new AUBG BUS Club is a joint organization which encompasses the biggest and most famous business, economics, and finance clubs at AUBG. They do not officially exist as separate entities anymore, but will rather function only under the new combined club, while still keeping the diversity of their activities.

John Dyer is currently a new professor for the JMC department where he teaches a course on multimedia. After having taught at AUBG in 2005, he's back again. He speaks Bulgarian fluently and expresses a desire to continue living and working in Bulgaria.

Hernando Zuleta is a full-time professor in Economics. He is married to a Bulgarian, and that is the main reason he ended up at AUBG. Currently, he is teaching two courses: International Trade and Money and Banking.

Stefania Dimitrova grew up in Sliven, Bulgaria and got her PhD in sociology at Sofia University. Before teaching at AUBG she has taught at Sofia University and at Tsukuba Science City University, Japan. Professor Dimitrova is the president of Madara Foundation, an independent, non-profit organization that deals with "culture of tolerance, peace and international communication." She has written two books: "The Rosary of Saraswati" and "Rabindranath Tagore - The Mythical Sentinel." This semester, Dimitrova teaches two psychology courses at AUBG.
