The AUBG Art Club protested against the initial SG refusal to fund their projects this semester. On Tuesday, Nov. 17 members of the club organized a symbolic "funeral" on campus, which was advertised by posters, resembling obituaries. About 40 people attended the protest. At the SG meeting, held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, the Art Club received a funding of approximately 500 levs, which will be used for the production of "Roman Bath". "Roman Bath" will be staged on Monday, Nov. 30, and Tuesday, Dec. 1, in Mladejki Dom.

TO: R.I.P ART CLUB
Are u an idiot? Where is this invoice? Show it if its in the past! I love it when people say stuff withought evident. So are you the Gossip Group? You must be.
If its fake why did the SFO Aleksandrov approve it, you baboon? The invoices are given by the municipality of Blagoevgrad for use of the halls. So is the municipality cheating AUBG?! Hahahah! God, the SG treasurer says she sees in the future fake invoices and dumb people like u follow blindly.
How about some one shows us her invoices from the musical? Where is all that ticket money going to? Where is the over 5000 she has taken for musicals over the years gone?
I didn’t see sets on stage and my friends in the musicals got their old clothes ...so where are those invoices?
Where is her budget?
It seems to me that this is the case of the thief yelling ”catch the thief”!

First, the "funeral" was not intended to be revolutionary, but last tool to be used. Second, I feel ashamed that I had to make "artistic" protest in an international community for a matter that can be resolved with only two words (please and thanks) between people on both sides who do not have to be egoistic and self-conceit. Unfortunately, the "future leaders institution" produces young individuals whose strive for self-promotion is comparable to Balkan politicians filled with ignorance, communicating like small children falsely accusing each other all the time and I am disappointed that I got entangled in the nets of people who only care about their CV. I do not think people should argue whether students should get money for plays, shows, musicals or not. Such reasoning, brought artiness ( and its followers) everywhere even into politics. As far as I know, in Europe, almost all of the cultural institutions(theaters, museums, opera houses, archeological sites etc.) receive money from the Government of the country on behalf of the fact that their work is of public interest. Why is it so? Some people know, some don't.

Skubev,

Why don't you tell the entire truth - because the entire campus already knows that the invoice your ex-president presented was not for rent as you intially requested and the SG still gave you money - even though they could have easily said NO - coz guess what they caught you in your own lies. So guys please stop spamming us with how inefficient this SG was, coz they knew of your lying 2 weeks before the ART Club realized it themselves. Freaking Skubev liar.

Eva, please use your real name for once and stop spreading rumors in forums and such. We all students know you’re behind the PR campaign of "Gossip Group" and you are trying to divert the attention from the musical's shady finances by chasing after other clubs. Shame on you big woman!
How could you make accusations without hard evidence? And I thought, you are supposed to be a smart person if in SG...wow...guess not. They should sue you for libel woman! And they would have grounds to do so.

Skubev, Skubev I knew that you will be the priest!!!! Students should stand up, students should constantly observe what is going and remind the university that they are not just a mass that could easily be manipulated. I am so sorry to write this but when the members of the SG grow bigger than the SG itself, students need to raise their voice and remind them that they are in the SG because they serve to the students, not vice versa. I have had enough hearing about the arbitrary decisions taken by particular members of the SG on the behalf of the SG that confront with the basic SG house rules. Also, I wonder where are the senators to prevent such behavior and since when a Treasurer - appointed by the Senate vetos Senate decisions? I am sure that there are great people in the SG that know why they are there, but these people need to put an end on the behavior of those who ruin the fragile reputation of the sg.
